Hi everyone,
As we had planned, we would like to share our thoughts regarding the change in our lead singer.
Lionville and Lars Säfsund have mutually and peacefully decided to part ways. Together with Frontiers, we chose to announce the news in conjunction with the announcement of our new single (and album) so you can have the chance to hear the new singer.
Of course, there are reasons behind our decision to go separate ways, most of those will remain private, as they should. We are sure you can understand and respect this point. Sometimes change is necessary and represents an opportunity for growth and openness to new possibilities including performing live if all conditions permit.
We want to emphasize that Lionville is the result of a team effort and not just the work of one individual. Lionville has always been, and will continue to be, a winning combination of all these elements.
We wish Lars all the best that life and music can offer, and we thank him for contributing to what Lionville has become over the years. He remains a great friend and an amazing singer.
Now, please welcome our new frontman, Alexander Strandell. Not only is Alex a fantastic person, but as you may have already noticed, he is an outstanding vocalist, truly one of the best around. He will be a great addition to Lionville.
Lastly, we want to thank those who have shown appreciation for the new single and this new chapter of Lionville, as well as those who respectfully expressed their discontent. Communication between us as human beings helps us grow into better people, even when faced with criticism.
